AOGLink ("we", "us", "our") is an aircraft parts locator platform. This Privacy & Cookies Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. For any privacy-related questions, contact us via the address published on our website.
2. What data we collect
- Account data — email, name, role (client, broker, admin), and authentication tokens — when you register or sign in.
- Operational data — AOG requests, parts you list or search for, messages exchanged through the platform.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and access logs needed for security and reliability.
- Optional location — your approximate location, only when you explicitly use the "My location" feature on the map.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
- Performance of the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — to provide the AOGLink platform you requested.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — security, fraud prevention, and basic service analytics.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for analytics and marketing cookies, and for any optional communications.
- Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — accounting, tax, and other applicable legal duties.
4. Cookies and similar technologies

5. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers processing data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.
- Brokers, clients and admins within the AOGLink platform, strictly to fulfil AOG requests you initiate.
- Authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations and to resolve disputes. Operational records (e.g. AOG requests) are kept for the period required by applicable law and legitimate business interests.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Poland: Prezes UODO).
9. Children
AOGLink is a B2B platform intended for aviation professionals. It is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision took effect. Material changes will be communicated through the platform.
